28 october 2016, the  SPBBF held its annual Congress in the premises of the City of Punaauia in Tahiti.

The President, Pierre Frogier opening requested a moment of silence in tribute to the late Vui Tapasu Leung Wai disappeared in 2016.

He then stood the administrative record, sporting and financial of the 2015 season.

The word was then given to the Presidents or representatives of the host countries that exposed the actions set up in 2016 and projects for 2017.

Pius Maemae (Solomon Islands) at its speaking confirmed it would be the hosts of the 23th Championnnats South Pacific in October 2017.

Ursula Te'o Martin (American Samoa) on request of the President of the SPBBF proposed to be the Assistant Secretary General Roland Chodey (New Caledonia) for relations with our English friends.

The Congress was closed with the traditional family photo.

Le 28 octobre 2016 la SPBBF tenait son Congrès annuelle dans les locaux de la Mairie de Punaauia à Tahiti.
Le Président Pierre Frogier en ouverture demandait une minute de silence en hommage au regretté Vui Tapasu Leung Wai disparu en 2016.

Il dressait ensuite le bilan administratif, sportif et financier de la saison 2015.
La parole était ensuite donnée aux Présidents ou représentants des pays hôtes qui exposaient les actions mises en place en 2016 et les projets 2017.

Ursula Te'o Martin (Samoa américaine) sur demande du Président de la SPBBF se proposait d'être l'adjointe du secrétaire général Roland Chodey (Nouvelle-Calédonie) pour les relations avec nos amis anglophones.

Le Congrès était clôturé par la traditionnelle photo de famille.
